Helena Amorim purchased The Insurance Agency of Cape Cod in 2006 and has continued to grow the agency through a strong commitment to client relationships, professional excellence, and community involvement. Under her leadership, the agency has earned a reputation for trusted guidance, responsive service, and deep knowledge of the Massachusetts insurance market.

In addition to leading the agency, Helena has served as President of the Cape Cod Insurance Association for more than 10 years and is a Board Member of the Massachusetts Property Insurance Underwriting Association (MPIUA). Her leadership roles reflect a longstanding commitment to advancing the insurance profession and advocating for consumers throughout the region.

Helena is passionate about helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate complex insurance decisions with clarity and confidence while maintaining the personalized service and community connection that define The Insurance Agency of Cape Cod.

Dan the Managing Director and Partner of TIACC-Life, Joined us in 2010. A seasoned Life & Health insurance professional, Dan is well established throughout Massachusetts. He is a licensed insurance agent who offers a various range of financial products. With a background in small business and banking, Dan focuses on financial insurance strategies, tax free retirement solutions for businesses and families. Dan is a resident of Falmouth and a devoted father of two boys. Dan has volunteered with the Falmouth Recreation Department for over 10 years, he has previously been a Board Member of The Cape Cod Children’s Museum and a former President of the Upper Cape Professionals Networking Group. He is an avid runner, athlete and has a great appreciate for the outdoors.

Ellysia, a Sr. Account Manager of The Insurance Agency of Cape Cod (TIACC), which she joined in 2007.A recognized face in the insurance industry, Ellysia started in insurance helping at a very early age. She had dreams of becoming a medical professional but the call of insurance and the need to help her customers kept her coming back through her college years. Finally realizing that her true passion was the need to help people, she settled in nicely in a Personal Lines position. Her tenacious need to learn more helped her to cross over to Commercial Lines where she now holds a wonderful position, able to handle all needs for her customers while still providing that exceptional customer service that she has been known to give.

Even after 10+ years in the Industry Ellysia still loves what she is doing and it shows by her everlasting smile that she shares with customers.

Ellysia and her family reside on Cape Cod; she enjoys spending time with her little boy, music, reading and camping.

Lisa our Administrative Assistant is usually the first person you encounter when calling or stopping by the office. She greets everyone with a warm and genuine hello and is truly interested in how she can help. Lisa provides assistance in all aspects of Personal Lines along with taking care of the customers billing and claim needs. She also oversees our processing unit and is back up to our Account Managers.

Lisa is a resident of the Cape who enjoys family time, exercise and the great New England weather. She is an avid animal enthusiast who enjoys the warm welcome of her own pets at the end of the workday.

Rebecca, an Account Manager at TIACC, is one of the friendly voices and faces you deal with when you have a question or want to review your policies. Having been a life agent prior to joining the team of TIACC, Rebecca understands the importance of protecting your assets and understanding your insurance responsibilities. What makes her one of our standout workers is her caring and exceptional customer service. Her ability to connect with the customer and understand their needs is an asset to all that deal with her.

Rebecca has long been an active member in her community, from volunteering at local non-profit organizations to taking in pets in need of a home. She is the proud mother of a son who is in the U.S. Navy and stationed in Japan. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, country music, and spending time with her husband.
Intern Position

INTERN
Interns at the Insurance Agency of Cape Cod are key to gaining and maintaining a large audience for the agency. The interns are in charge of the agencies’ social media accounts and marketing in general. When you see a post on Facebook the work is done by the interns to establish a greater online presence. Throughout the internship you learn a lot about insurance so there is no need for any prior knowledge of insurance to have the job. Interns monitor the website and reach out to spread the name of TIACC. Not only do they market the company but also help with anything that the staff needs.
