Helena Amorim
President
Helena is the President of The Insurance Agency of Cape Cod (TIACC), which she acquired in 2006. TIACC, an established Massachusetts agency, founded in 1987 and is located in East Sandwich, Massachusetts.
A veteran of the insurance industry, Helena began her career in 1985 and is well-established throughout Massachusetts. She started her career in the personal lines arena, progressed to the commercial lines, handled a multitude of specialty programs and then joined management. During her career, she aggressively pursued her long-term goal of owning her own insurance agency—in order to provide the attention and service she believes all customers deserve.
Helena is affiliated with various professional insurance and marketing organizations; she is the current president of The Cape Cod Insurance Agents Association and is a long time member of The Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents.
She thoroughly enjoys taking an active role in all issues of her agency that affect client service. She also believes that while she is selling a product that most do not really love—she might as well do it with a smile.
Helena and her family reside on Cape Cod; she enjoys music, dancing, taekwondo, and taking in the simplicity and beauty of Cape Cod and what it has to offer.

Daniel Sherwood
Senior Associate
Dan is a Senior Associate at The Insurance Agency of Cape Cod (TIACC), which he joined in 2010. TIACC, an established Massachusetts agency, was founded in 1987 and is located in East Sandwich, Massachusetts.
A seasoned insurance industry professional, Dan is well-established throughout Massachusetts. He is a licensed insurance agent and a member of FINRA/SIPC, a licensed insurance agency, and is licensed to offer mutual funds and various other financial products. With a background in small business and banking, Dan focuses on financial and insurance strategies for small businesses and families.
Dan is a 38-year resident of Falmouth, Massachusetts and lives there with his wife Donna and their two boys. Dan has volunteered with the Falmouth Recreation Department for over 10 years, is an active Board Member of the Cape Cod Children’s Museum, and is a former President of the Upper Cape Professionals Networking Group. Dan is also a National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) member and is an avid runner and athlete.
Ellysia Moreis
Account Manager
Ellysia, an Account Manager of The Insurance Agency of Cape Cod (TIACC), which she joined in 2007.
A recognized face in the insurance industry, Ellysia started in insurance helping at a very early age. She had dreams of becoming a medical professional but the call of insurance and the need to help her customers kept her coming back through her college years. Finally realizing that her true passion was the need to help people, she settled in nicely in a Personal Lines position. Her tenacious need to learn more helped her to cross over to Commercial Lines where she now holds a wonderful position, able to handle all needs for her customers while still providing that exceptional customer service that she has been known to give.
Even after 10+ years in the Industry Ellysia still loves what she is doing and it shows by her everlasting smile that she shares with customers.
Ellysia and her family reside on Cape Cod; she enjoys spending time with her little boy, music, reading and camping.
Kelly Proverb
Account Manager
Kelly, an Account Manager of The Insurance Agency of Cape Cod (TIACC), which she joined in 2007.
A seasoned veteran of the insurance industry, she began her career in 1985 with a company out of Boston in a data entry level quickly moving to Commercial Lines where she found her passion. She later moved to Cape Cod taking a position with an agency and bringing her closer to dealing with the customers that she had grown to know and love.
Kelly specializes in Commercial Lines although enjoys all aspects of insurance and holds her broker’s license in both Property & Casualty.
She enjoys providing high-quality customer service as well as being able to meet her client’s insurance needs.
Kelly, a proud mother of a wonderful daughter, resides on Cape Cod and enjoys music, Tae Kwon Do, dancing & cooking.

Shawn manages TIACC's website and handles other technology related functions.
Brittaney Turner
Brittaney Turner, our receptionist at the agency who greets everyone the old fashioned way, with a twinkle In her eye and a warm smile. Brittaney enjoys helping our customers with their billing questions, claims inquiries and general questions. Brittaney a part time employee helps us full time in the summer around her busy schedule that consists of college and family life. She is a Cape Cod native who enjoys the Cape Cod life style of kicking back in the winter months by the fire and barbecues in the summer.
